Rosso Coffee Roasters - USA Sales Development Representative
At Rosso Coffee Roasters, we believe coffee is more than a daily ritual, it’s a story of connection, craft, and community. Since 2007, Rosso has grown from a single café to an internationally recognized coffee roaster, proudly shipping to over 20 countries around the world. We’re honoured to be the official roaster of the 2023 and 2024 World Barista Champions, home to multiple Canadian barista champions, and the recipient of ATB’s Small Business of the Year. Rosso continues to lead the industry in quality and innovation, including our pioneering use of colour-sorting technology to ensure every batch of coffee meets the highest standards.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, relationship-driven USA Sales Development Representative to lead our expansion across the U.S. market. This is an opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on ownership, loves building from the ground up, and is energized by meaningful conversations with café owners, baristas, and coffee professionals. You’ll be responsible for growing revenue, creating lasting partnerships, and delivering a world-class experience that reflects our values of quality, sustainability, and innovation. Reporting to both the CEO and Canadian Wholesale Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping Rosso’s presence in the U.S. If you're ready to build something exceptional and grow with a brand that puts people and purpose first, we’d love to connect.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute strategic territory growth plans to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by identifying, prospecting, and closing qualified leads across foodservice, café, and hospitality sectors
Track core KPIs and have ability to adjust approaches to identify and capitalize on opportunities for expansion and upselling to drive revenue growth
Craft compelling pitches tailored to each lead’s specific needs, showcasing Rosso’s coffee, training, and business support capabilities
Showcase the Rosso experience by conducting tastings and communicating who we are and the quality of our line up
Be accountable to timelines and goals with an ability to execute ket initiatives
Maintain organized and up-to-date sales activity in Pipe Drive and Netsuite
Ability to resolve challenges and navigate issues as they arise with a customer first focus
Facilitate onboarding, including initial ordering support, portal setup, equipment coordination, and training schedules
Build client programs to enhance their experience and ensure long-term success
Build trust, understand their needs and proactively address challenges that arise
Design and implement strategies to drive client engagement, retention, and revenue expansion for both Rosso and the client
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (onboarding, operations, support) to ensure smooth transitions and exceptional partner experiences
Represent Rosso Coffee Roasters at trade shows, coffee festivals, and partner events
Travel regularly within the assigned region and occasionally to company events
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in specialty coffee, foodservice, or a related industry
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving profitable growth
Experience managing regional markets, channels, and key accounts preferred
Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Specialty coffee knowledge and passion for exceptional coffee and the ability to communicate Rosso’s quality standards with confidence and clarity
Self-starter with strong time management, organizational, and territory planning skills
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with high emotional intelligence
Proficiency in CRM platforms (Pipedrive), G-Suite, Netsuite, Slack, and digital communication tools
Comfortable with frequent travel and flexible availability, including some weekends and evenings
Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and be eligible to work in the United States
