Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with a strong background in event coordination, capable of providing a high level support to the Director Community and Culture

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to work as part of a visible and community facing role.

We’re seeking someone who enjoys variety in their role – someone who can work independently with confidence while also being a proactive and collaborative team player. A passion for organisation, attention to detail, customer focus and event planning is essential.

About the role:

Inbox Management: filter emails, draft responses and ensure timely follow-ups.
Diary and calendar management: Schedule meetings, prioritise tasks and ensure Director Community and Culture is well prepared.
Document preparation: Prepare high quality reports, presentation and correspondence.
Administrative support: Quotes, payment processing, running data reports. Provide some administrative support across the Community & Culture directorate
Organisation and event planning: support the Director Community and Culture, and teams across the Directorate with event planning.

About you:

Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally with some event management experience
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong multi-tasking abilities with the capacity to prioritise effectively
Ability to work autonomously and make decisive, well-informed decisions.
Excellent interpersonal skills – a natural people person who enjoys connecting with others.
This role is ideal for a highly organised and event focused EA who finds fulfilment in both executive support and event execution. You’ll be joining an organisation that provides the tools, support and motivation to help you grow and succeed in your career.
