The Role
As a Corporate Accountant at Hughes Marino, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing transactional processes, and supporting financial reporting. Your contributions will help ensure our financial health while upholding compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders, enhance financial processes, and contribute to special projects that drive efficiency and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Accounts Payable Management - Process vendor invoices, ensure accurate account coding, and manage timely payments.
Accounts Receivable Support - Generate and send invoices for brokerage commissions, tenant reimbursements, and other revenue streams.
General Ledger & Reconciliations - Record journal entries, reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
Month-End Close - Support the month-end closing process, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
