About Ekank and ThisDay
There are numerous stories that end up getting lost in time because they don't get the audience they deserve. At Ekank, our mission is to bring these stories to life in whatever way possible by making sure they get their due visibility.
To put things in perspective, history, art, culture and heritage are extremely close to each one of us and through our platform ThisDay, we want to enable accessibility to each one of these categories, in multiple languages and globally.
We offer means of earning for each one of our storytellers irrespective of their prowess - text, image, audio or video and through ThisDay, communities and brands can come together to make an impact that was hitherto undreamt of.
Over 13 Mn users enjoy stories on our platform every month and this number is expected to hit over 50 Mn by the end of 2024. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, would be to bring in your expertise and build features and products that would be used by millions of people for bringing stories to life every day
In this role you will:
• Design posters, icons, banners and other assets for app and social media.
• Illustration and animation skills are an added advantage
• Creating varied animations with images, videos, and texts
• Designing infographics
• Participate in frequent brainstorming sessions
• Work closely with product designers and illustrators to bring the design to fruition
• Work as a self-starter on projects assigned to you, and come up with proposals
• Follow strict timelines for project deliverables
