Job description
Poplar River First Nation is seeking a Guidance Counselor for the 2025/2026 school year.

Our new school provides Nursery/Kindergarten to Grade 12 classes to a student population of approximately 400 students. We offer a competitive remuneration and benefit package and provide subsidized housing, modern newly furnished apartments, free Wi-Fi and telephone, and travel allowance.

We are a remote (fly-in) community located at Poplar River, Manitoba, on the east side of lake Winnipeg. We have winter road access from December to March.

Requirements: (Candidate must be legally authorized to work in Canada)
• Bachelor Degree in Education/Counselling
• School Counselling Certificate
• Experience in of 5 year or more
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organization & time management skills
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment

Pay: $60,000.00-$118,000.00 per year
