We are seeking a Head of Marketing & Category to join our team based in North Sydney on a 12-month full-time maternity leave cover contract.
In this pivotal role, you will lead our Consumer Marketing & Category team across Australia and New Zealand, driving growth across Pharmacy, Grocery, and Ecommerce channels. You'll shape the brand and category strategy to deliver strong commercial results, develop a high-performing team, and be a key leader within the Consumer Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute brand, category, and shopper marketing strategies across ANZ
Oversee innovation pipeline, portfolio management, and campaign execution
Develop pricing, promotion, and channel strategies based on market insights
Drive customer engagement to win at shelf—both physical and digital
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 marketers across brand and category functions
Skills & Qualifications
15+ years’ experience in FMCG marketing and category leadership roles
Strong commercial acumen and deep knowledge of AU/NZ retail landscape
Expertise in brand strategy, shopper insights, and promotional planning
Proven team leadership with a track record of coaching and developing talent
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related field
