Heavy Military Vehicle Mechanic {Defence} Military Location Up to £31,500 (DOE) + Salary Reviews + Occasional Overtime + 6% Pension + Fully funded training and progression opportunities + much much more… Are you a Vehicle Mechanic or similar with a level 3 qualification or equivalent looking for a new and exciting role working on a range of military vehicles of all shapes and sizes? On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Mechanic with a level 3 qualification to join one of the world's leading defence contractors. In this role, the successful Military Vehicle Mechanic would be responsible for working on a range of military vehicles or all shapes and sizes. This role will include a lot of servicing, maintenance and repairs to a very high standard and to the strictest of guidelines. The workshop is kept extremely tidy and full equipped with all the tools and equipment you could ever need. The ideal candidate Military Vehicle Mechanic would have a minimum of an NVQ3 in vehicle mechanics or equivalent, be eager to work on military vehicles and do their bit for the current global crisis. The Role: Be part of a highly skilled team.Working on military vehicles and military equipment.Repair, maintenance, servicing and modifications.Mechanical, electrical and hydraulics.Full training and development opportunities.Further qualifications. Location

Rugby area - reports to A5, Unit 11, Europark, Watling Cres, Rugby CV23 0AL
• £750 payable in first months’ pay and £750 payable after successful completion of 90-day probation review. subject to tax and NI deductions

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HGVs and specialist vehicles
• Working with top brands like Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford
• Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and quality standards
• Prepare vehicles for MOT
• Mobile role with flexibility to work in the workshop when required
• Collaborating with a skilled, friendly team

What We’re Looking For:
• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
• Experience working with HGVs or LCVs
• A Full UK / Irish / EU Class C or CE (formerly Class 1 or 2) Manual Driving Licence
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and a passion for vehicle maintenance
