Introduction:
This role will hold responsibility for design and execution of specific initiatives as part of the broader Transformation program. You will be aligned to the Impairment Finance Transaction Cycle where you will be “hands on” in transformation activities largely focussed on building out the model capability which will require supporting design of future target state, planning, analysis, execution, process assessment and mapping and communications.

What will you be doing?
- Drive forward specific Impairment transformation modelling initiatives, facilitate workshops and work with key stakeholders to actively manage day to day activities
- Gatekeeper for ensuring business requirements are met and model control deficieniences are addressed through model enhancements
- Bring together Risk, Technology partners and SMEs to achieve desired outcomes
- Support the broader transformation model capability initiative build out; ensuring Impairment model transformation remains aligned to the wider model strategy
- Identify business processes inefficiencies that delay the target end state
- Responsible for the co-ordination of materials for key project /program level meetings and forums liaising with individuals and teams to ensure the necessary materials are assembled and issued in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, reporting requirements and change control standards
- Pro-actively maintain the program/ project log and assist program managers and work stream leads in the management and resolution of issues and risks;
- Encourage and develop a culture of diversity and inclusion

What we’re looking for:

- Extensive knowledge of the banking and financial markets sector
- An excellent commercial attitude with a deep interest in the drivers of performance and a passion for improving results
- Strong commercial knowledge and understanding of economic drivers
- Exceptional business analytical skills
- Broad knowledge of modelling techniques including the model lifecycle
- Appreciation of data principles, including data modelling and data design
- Demonstrate a range of styles and techniques in leadership and communications, including influencing and negotiating with a broad set of stakeholders;
- Proven ability to work globally and develop close working relationships with peer teams in other regions
- Solid problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver with accuracy and attention to detail

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Expertise in IFRS+ risk analytics would be advantageous
- Experience of finance transformation programs and demonstrable track record leading a variety of relevant projects from inception through design and implementation
- Excellent Power-point skills, with the ability to storyboard and produce best in class presentations
