THE ROLE:

As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our sales growth, serving both external customers and internal partners. You'll manage mid-level travel agency accounts, build relationships, and expand business through outbound calls and correspondence campaigns. You'll also provide problem-solving support, redirecting inquiries to the appropriate departments when necessary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Experience in inside sales and marketing within the travel industry
Self-starter, proactive attitude
Strong problem-solving and resolution skills
Excellent customer service skills
Outstanding relationship-building abilities
Ability to analyze sales data
Expertise in MS Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Dynamics) and CRM systems like Salesforce
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

Managing travel industry sales accounts
Familiarity with leisure travel products and destinations, especially Globus family of brands
Business and sales acumen
Understanding of sales reports and metrics for informed business decisions
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Educate travel advisors on our products, destinations, and promotions through outbound calls and e-campaigns
Generate marketing materials to boost sales opportunities and train advisors on self-serve marketing systems
Address travel advisor inquiries about Globus family of brands, ensuring timely and positive resolutions
Onboard new accounts, including home-based and independent contractor advisors, ensuring they have the tools to succeed
Encourage use of the Travel Advisor Portal (TAP) and conduct necessary trainings
Participate in webinars, trainings, and travel shows/events as needed
Stay updated on company products and competitive landscape to be a trusted resource
Maintain advisor/agency updates in the CRM database
Collaborate with Business Development Managers to meet travel partner needs and increase sales
Contribute to team efforts by supporting related projects and departments
EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Travel Agency Sales consists of Senior Directors, Business Development Managers, Account Managers and Inside Sales Account Managers The team increases sales for over +,000 of our travel agency partners. They share product and destination information, promotions and incentives, and sales and marketing tools to help our agencies market and sell to their clients. Our Field Sales team (Business Development Managers) visit agencies, meet with owners/managers, conduct product training, and attend many industry shows/conferences to spread the Globus news. Our Account Managers support the three key verticals (National Accounts, Key Accounts and Strategic Accounts) along with Senior Directors. Our Inside Sales Managers conduct call campaigns, e-mail campaigns, and provide marketing flyers and tools to help educate the travel agent community.
