Responsibilities for HR business analystContract with customers, partners, and co-workers to define research questions, analysis plans, and deliverable timelines (with some support)Work closely with data, from initial extraction through preliminary analysis to results validationBeyond this analytical work, there will periodically be some minor responsibilities in support of other priority work within the broader HR Business Insights teamEvaluates, analyzes, designs and maintains company Human Resources Information Systems, including PeopleSoft, Kenexa, Kronos, Remedy, Service Now, OHM, SABA, Authoria Self Service and PMPImplements and trains others on specially-designed human resources information systems, related policies and business processes that are designed to obtain, record and process employee informationCollaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate the application of a change or fixRecommends, implements and plans for process and system improvements, enhancements and new applications to the systemIdentifies and understands issues, problems and opportunitiesCreates complex queries and reports in a variety of systems that analyze and interpret data for managementMaintains data integrity in systems through query creation and data analysisQualifications for HR business analystKnowledge of human resources processes, principles, concepts and methodologyDemonstrated ability to lead small scale projectStrong knowledge in HR processes and system solutionsExperience with diverse stakeholders (IT and Supplier Partners)Business Process Re-engineering and functional specifications developmentExperience with cloud based computing and Software as a Service

Provide customer service and HR support for employees
Ensure a positive onboarding experience by assisting with new hire orientation
Assist with maintaining associate files, ensuring documents and manuals are kept current, accurate, confidential and in compliance with company polices
Handle leave programs such as tracking leave and FMLA compliance, and preparing related notification letters
Administer the temporary employee conversion process, including sending out and processing evaluation forms, and scheduling and facilitating the orientation process
Audit and administer monthly HR invoicing, including temporary employee payroll, pre-employment and post-accident testing, HR supplies, etc.
Organize and deliver employee programs, including facility bulletin boards, recognition programs, employee communication memos, etc.
