🚨 NOW HIRING: Lead Designer – Ladieswear (Canada-based)
📍 Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) | 💼 Type: 3 months Freelance on probation followed by a Full time contract

As we grow our footprint in Canada, we’re looking for a Senior Designer to spearhead our Ladieswear design direction for North American retailers.
🎨 What You'll Do
✔ Lead seasonal collections (knits/woven) tailored for Canadian/US markets
✔ Work with buyers, merchandisers, and our Dhaka-based teams
✔ Deliver tech packs, 3D mockups (CLO3D), and trend-right retail solutions
✔ Present to major retailers & lead fabric innovation with our mills
👗 Who You Are
✅ 8+ years in fashion design for brands like Aritzia, Hudson’s Bay, Walmart, Joe Fresh, Canada Goose , YM Corporations , Roots Canada , Simons, Reitmans, etc.
✅ Expert in cut-and-sew knits, jersey, and retail-focused womenswear
✅ Proficient in CLO3D & Adobe Suite
✅ Ontario-based, collaborative, trend-driven, sustainability-aware
💡 Bonus Points
• Experience with design-to-cost & private label
• Worked with Asia-based factories (esp. Bangladesh)
