Today, 30 years later brand Turtle continue to deliver the best of global styling and inspirations, whilst staying true to their heritage. Roles and Responsibilities Liaising closely with sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points. Checking a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and mass production. Establishing best in class design and merchandising process across denim product category Responsible for selection of fabric, trims, styles and other accessories including packaging for development sample Considering the technical guidelines form various departments while selecting the style, fabric and other trims for the better feasibility of product in bulk production To Create/visualize an idea and producing a design by hand sketch or using computer-based software. Working with others in the design team, product development and forecasters, to develop products to meet a brief. To keep up to date with emerging and upcoming fashion trends, competition as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colours etc. Desired Candidate Profile Minimum experience of 8-10 years in design of menswear (casual or denim category) A fashion graduate/postgraduate from NIFT.
