About the Role:

This role will be focused on enhancing customer experience and further building brand loyalty locally. A role where we expect you turn up with, credentialled knowledge, solid experience, self-confidence and impeccable character all of which leads to ambitious thinking and high standards. This role involves working closely with the Senior Management team, and is critical to delivering our next chapter of growth and one where we expect you to make a tangible difference.

This role will involve:

Implementing marketing and branding initiatives from ideas to execution, using local know-how with national support.
Execution across all marketing channels (digital, social and traditional media) to engage with Kiwis who want to love where they live.
Developing and managing collaborative partnerships that make a difference in our local community.
Event coordination and promotion of our in-store and community-based events.
Ensure all marketing and branding is coordinated, complies with brand standards and enhances awareness of Mitre 10 as the leading improvement business in the country.
Knowledge of design platforms - Photoshop and Canva

Our ideal candidate will need:

Established marketing and branding experience, particularly with digital and social media. A formal qualification in marketing and a minimum of three years generalist marketing experience is preferred.
The ability to build strong relationships with community and business partners, as well as fellow team members.
Demonstrable organisational skills and planning ability.
Intermediate/advanced computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite.
Creative and adaptable approach to their work, able to find solutions and apply lateral thinking.
