Full job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Delivery:
Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons based on the CBSE curriculum for Grades 5 and 6, ensuring clear understanding of core concepts like fractions, decimals, geometry, measurement, and basic algebra.
2. Lesson Planning:
Develop age-appropriate and concept-driven lesson plans, worksheets, and activities using innovative and interactive teaching strategies.
3. Assessment & Evaluation:
Design formative and summative assessments, conduct regular evaluations, and maintain records of students’ academic progress.
4. Remedial Support:
Identify learning gaps and provide additional support and remediation to students who need help in understanding mathematical concepts.
5. Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning and ensure student engagement and participation.
6. Integration of Technology:
Use digital tools and audio-visual aids to enhance teaching and learning experiences wherever relevant.
7. Collaborative Work:
Work collaboratively with grade-level and subject teachers for interdisciplinary projects, school events, and examinations.
8. Parent Communication:
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
