Role
The Study Hall Supervisor & Environmental Coordinator supports the Senior School team by managing and documenting the schools late to school process, supervising study hall, managing student behaviour, and assisting with administrative tasks. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the school's environmental sustainability efforts by encouraging eco-friendly practices and supporting students with environmental initiatives.

This position's hours are 8:30 - 3:15pm. Applicants must be able to work 5 days per week.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position will be:
1. Study Hall Supervision:
Socialising: Ensure students are not socialising during study hall and encourage them to go outside during recess and lunch.
Eating and Drinking: Only water bottles are allowed in study hall (no cans/juice boxes, etc.) particularly during recess and lunch.
Toilet Usage: Ensure only Year 11 and 12 students are using the Senior Studies toilets, especially during recess and lunch.
Kitchen Access: Year 12 students only can use the kitchen, with minimal noise. If noise exceeds acceptable levels, students should use the courtyard instead.
Behaviour Monitoring: Ensure that study hall remains a quiet, focused environment for all students.
Mobile Phones and Headphones: Ensure mobile phones and headphones are used only for educational purposes, in line with school policy.
Attendance:
Period 1: Record attendance for students arriving late. Students must sign the "Late to School" sheet outside senior school administration office. Inform YLCs of students of concerns who are late.
Periods 2-5: Students studying in study hall must sign in on the study hall sheet.
Student Movement:
Ensure students get passes when leaving for lockers or toilets
Creating a Positive Learning Atmosphere:
Encourage respectful behaviour and academic focus by offering work support when necessary.
General Supervision:
Oversee the Senior Studies Centre and assist staff with related duties as needed.
Administrative Tasks:
Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Assistant Principal or Principal.
Managing Class Cancellations
Support Students with No Work
