Casual Childcare Educator | Essendon

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Casual Educator to join our Essendon team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for all children.

Centre Overview:
Our Essendon Centre provides intentional learning opportunities daily, with a focus on literacy and numeracy, language, life skills, music and rhythm, and more. We embrace the uniqueness of each child, recognising their individuality and treating them with the utmost respect. Every child has the right to belong, learn, grow, and flourish in a safe and supportive environment. We believe in nurturing their curiosity and fostering a genuine eagerness to learn.

About the role:
This is a casual opportunity across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times

Support the physical care and emotional wellbeing of all children

Facilitate learning experiences for your designated group of children

Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences

To be considered for our team you must hold:
An ACECQA recognised qualification – e.g. working towards, certificate III, diploma or higher

An approved Working with Children Check (State specific)

Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
