Position Summary:
The MIS (Management Information Systems) Executive for CMD provides critical support to the Chief Managing Director (CMD) by managing and analyzing information, facilitating decision-making processes, and ensuring effective communication between CMD and various departments within the organization. This role requires a high level of discretion, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Information Management: Gather, organize and maintain relevant information for the CMD. This includes data related to financial performance, market trends, operational metrics, competitor analysis, and other key indicators. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of information.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports, presentations, and executive summaries for the CMD, highlighting key insights and performance metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations based on data analysis.
• Strategic Support: Assist the CMD in strategic decision-making processes by providing timely and accurate information. Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to support CMD in formulating business strategies and plans.
• Communication and Coordination: Facilitate effective communication between CMD and other departments or stakeholders. Liaise with department heads to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate activities. Ensure that relevant information is communicated to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Meeting Support: Prepare agenda, collate relevant data, and provide necessary documentation for meetings chaired by the CMD. Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely execution. Coordinate with participants to schedule meetings and maintain the CMD's calendar.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and address any issues or concerns raised by the CMD. Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to the CMD's office.
• Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve MIS processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. Identify opportunities for automation and streamlining of workflows.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of MIS and executive support. Participate in relevant professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in MIS, executive support, or related roles, preferably supporting C-level executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, spreadsheet software (such as Microsoft Excel), and presentation tools (such as Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools and data visualization techniques is desirable.
• Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and database querying languages (such as SQL) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
