About the role
Thanks to market growth, we’re looking for trade-qualified Mobile Service Technicians to train in the repair and maintenance of forklifts and mobile elevating work platforms (EWP).
This hands-on, on-the-road role offers plenty of variety—one day you’ll be performing routine maintenance or attending emergency breakdowns, the next you could be tackling a complex overhaul. You’ll enjoy the changing scenery, working directly with customers, and providing high-quality service at their sites. Backed by a supportive team at our Melbourne branch, you’ll have everything you need to succeed.
You’ll be on the road servicing customer forklifts (up to 7 tonnes for light equipment & 10+ tonnes for heavy equipment) and other lifting machinery.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Performing planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections
Carrying out repairs and troubleshooting issues
Overhauls
Assembling and commissioning new machines
Modifications
About you - ESSENTIAL
Automotive Mechanic trade certificate
Good customer service relationships
Team player – collaborate, adapt, and support those around you
Strong communication and attention to detail
Be able to work with minimal supervision
Must be reliable and punctual
Desirable
Electrical and hydraulic experience
