Job description, work day and responsibilities
We are launching a digital-first YouTube News Channel and are seeking a confident, camera-ready News Presenter & Content Creator who can be the face and voice of our platform. This role involves independently researching, presenting, and producing short-format news content, while also managing our social media presence.
Responsibilities:
• Research and present breaking news, current affairs, political updates, and trending stories in an engaging and credible manner
• Record and produce video news segments with a professional on-screen presence
• Write scripts or bullet points for video delivery (no teleprompter provided)
• Record yourself in a clear and confident tone (from home or studio)
• Edit basic videos or coordinate with our editor (if available)
• Post videos to YouTube, Instagram, and other social platforms with relevant captions and hashtags
• Grow audience engagement and stay on top of trending topics and viral formats
• Maintain consistency in tone, brand, and content quality
Requirements:
• Strong command of spoken English, Hindi, or Punjabi (multilingual is a bonus)
• Confident on-camera presence with clear diction and a news-presenting style
• Knowledge of current events, Indian and global politics, and social issues
• Ability to work independently and meet publishing deadlines
• Experience with content creation, social media management, and video recording
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, etc.) preferred
• Access to a good-quality phone/camera, mic, and a quiet filming space
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
