Responsibilities
Immediate full-time openings for qualified Journeyman and Apprentices
You will learn how to develop a division while expanding your skills in the field
Read blueprints, material instructions and apply the proper products, as instructed, to the interior walls of high end homes and commercial buildings
Remove existing wallpaper from walls (to prepare the surface for new wallpaper by our other skilled installers)
Prepare drywall surfaces for primer and apply paper/fiberglass mesh tape to cover drywall seams
Smooth walls by sanding taped seams to create a smooth surface before priming the wall/ceiling surface, as required
Become familiar with different paint, primer, tape and prep materials required for wall and ceiling applications
Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation
Work professionally with superintendents, foreman and other trades on different job sites

About Your Position:
We are looking for a professional painter to help us open up our wall prep services. This position offers the exciting opportunity of spearheading a new program alongside the Owner/CEO to develop a wall prep/prime and eventually a specialty painting division. We are looking for a professional that has experience, is a leader, and wants to grow with our team as our long standing company develops a diverse offering of services. Come join us if you are a team player with a strong work ethic and still likes to get their hands dirty. You will learn how to develop a division while expanding your skills in the field.
Pay Range: $30-42/ hour
Job Duties:
