We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Advisor to join our People Operations team as a support person to the lead Advisor. Our team is responsible for workforce information, insights and systems.
In this role, you'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing working with our vendor team, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and providing expert advice to staff and managers on payroll-related matters.
A key focus will be putting people information and insights at the fingertips of leaders, rationalising and systems and processes, and implementing new approaches where required to enable self-service, and provide consistent, repeatable outcomes and data points to underpin our people strategy.
You will also provide seamless support to the People and Capability team to enable us to deliver a high-quality service, ensuring we meet our goals within the people plan.
Give all our people and external stakeholders a fantastic customer experience.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experience
Experience delivering payroll services in a government agency and in accordance with good employment practice, perferrably some experience with the JadeStar platform.
Proven background, 3+ years in end-to-end payroll.
Experience working in a large or complex organisation.
Strong understanding of payroll legislation in the New Zealand context.
Demonstrated ability to check data integrity through reporting and reconciliation.
Whanuitanga Utu a-Tau | Salary range
Salary range for this role is $90,160 to $109,279 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
