JOB DESCRIPTION
Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Registered Nurse to join our Burn Unit and make a difference for our patients and our community.
We are Minnesota’s first verified Burn Center and have 18 beds; 8 are designated as critical care and 10 as non-critical. The Burn Center offers critical care and burn management to both adults & pediatric patients with thermal, electrical, radiation and chemical injuries Patients with frostbite, limb reattachments, necrotizing soft tissue infections, and other acute dermatological conditions are also cared for on this unit. The nursing staff is trained to operate all critical care and hemodynamic monitor equipment.

Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient and family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient’s bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses. All new hire registered nurses at Regions Hospital will be automatically enrolled. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. Work Schedule: 0.70 Evening/Night. 8 hour evening shifts during the week; 12 hour night shifts every 3rd weekend.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Nursing
Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire
One year of acute care RN experience is preferred

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role. Pay within our ranges may also be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities as well as internal equity. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation based on role (e.g., shift differential, bonus, sales incentive, productivity pay, etc.).
