Senior Tax Specialist

Job Summary

SponsorCloud, a technology company providing an all-in-one suite of solutions for fund managers and real estate sponsors to manage their businesses, is seeking a qualified Senior Tax Accountant. This role will leverage technology to deliver best-in-class service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Federal and State 1065 Partnership returns for real estate syndications and funds.
• Prepare K-1s and assist with investor inquiries.
• Maintain depreciation, amortization, and member basis schedules.
• Identify necessary book-to-tax adjustments.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for tax filings.
• Conduct tax research and provide recommendations to clients on tax planning strategies.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Lead and manage a team of accountants (2-5 members).

Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role.
• Real Estate experience highly preferred.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in using tax software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours: 6:30 pm - 3:30 am
