DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant
• Establish tracking and reporting programs to measure the success of e-marketing, and social media campaigns; provide timely reports on progress
• Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content
• Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, our partners, and/or industry, both from existing leads and guests as well as from brand new audiences
• Provide consistent updates and graphics support for the digital platforms
• Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success (e.g., contests, chats, etc.)
• Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach consumers
• Liaise with team members and outside agencies to ensure brand/tone of voice consistency
• Advance multiple projects simultaneously
• Possess a passion for staying up to date with digital marketing trends and recommend strategy changes to improve customer engagement
• All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication, OR an equivalent of Four (4) years’ experience managing multiple business facing social media accounts in a professional work is required
• Experience managing social media programs for a tourism or hospitality business is a plus
• Proven expertise using Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, and social media management platforms is required
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Proven experience growing social media fans is required
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high-volume environment while prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously and remaining well organized
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team as needed
• Must be available to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays as required to execute position
• Must be able to work in a variety of environments including cold, hot, humid, and/or rainy
• Must be able to lift 25lbs, be able to adapt to prolonged periods of standing or walking, and have the fine motor skills to move tables, chairs, or other event supplies as needed
