What is Candlelight?
Since July 201+, Fever Originals has produced a series of classical music concerts in a “candlelit setting” which takes place in the most ******** and undiscovered venues all over the world. Cities include: France (Paris, Toulouse, Lyon), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia), Portugal (Lisbon and Porto), and the United States (Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago), and are in the process of expanding to your city! Candlelight has democratized classical music by sharing it with the general public and providing a unique experience for each of our audiences.
For this role we are looking for an onsite Event Manager for our Candlelight Concerts. This is a part-time position and our concerts are mainly on weekends. Transport costs will not be compensated and will be included as part of the hourly rate.
Responsibilities will include:
Main Responsibilities:
• Act as main point of contact onsite for Candlelight events and staff; communicate directly with Fever Originals manager
• Full visibility into staff roster; set schedule; communicate with the staffing agency about any reschedules of events
• Ensuring each staff member is trained in their duties whether it is validating tickets, accommodating guests to their seats, and guaranteeing all staff goes through a thorough safety measures training while representing the Fever brand
• Manage inventory for venues
• Manage any printing needs
• Manage guest lists for all events
• Manage the opening and closing remarks at events
• Daily reporting to Fever Originals Project Managers about the status of each event; including both the pre and post event findings and feedback
• Assist with evaluating and executing walk-throughs of potential venues
• Opportunity to partake in an exciting and rapidly growing company and the possibility to manage Candlelight and other Fever Original Events in other areas
• Represent both the Fever and Candlelight brand fully through professional communication and management; acting as the main customer service representative at every event
Required profile:
• 2+ years of experience in event management and/or a relevant degree (preferred)
• Interest and passion for live music and organizing events
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Experience leading an on-site team
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good ability to work in a pressured environment
• Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable)

Job Overview: As an Event Conceptualization and Planning Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, ideating, and executing innovative event solutions for a variety of corporate events. From initial concept development to final event delivery, your responsibilities will span across creative ideation, client engagement, vendor identification, and event management. You will be tasked with turning challenging briefs into extraordinary events that meet client expectations, while managing all aspects of planning, execution, and post-event analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Ideation & Concept Development:
• Develop innovative, path-breaking ideas and creative concepts for events, ensuring they align with client objectives and industry trends.
• Transform challenging briefs into compelling, out-of-the-box event concepts that wow clients and audiences alike.
• Conceptualize event-centric themes, storyboards, and event collaterals that effectively communicate the vision for the event.
Client Presentations & Engagement:
• Create and present engaging pitch presentations to clients for event approval, ensuring the presentation of ideas both visually and verbally.
• Understand client requirements (for corporate events such as Towhalls, Award Functions, Annual Day Celebrations, Employee Engagement Activities, Conferences, Seminars, Product Launches and Inaugurations.), propose and present creative solutions, and secure event confirmations.
Collaboration with Design & Creative Teams:
• Work with graphic designers, artists, and other creative professionals to develop themes, 2D/3D layouts, and event set designs.
• Collaborate closely to develop new event concepts, layouts, and visual elements that stand out and engage the audience.
Event Planning & Coordination:
• Research new event activities,innovative trends, and vendor options to incorporate into event concepts.
• Coordinate with clients to understand their needs, provide regular updates, and manage expectations throughout the planning process.
• Source and recommend suitable event venues (local and outstation) based on client specifications.
• Oversee sourcing and supply of event merchandise and ensure all necessary resources are available for event execution.
Others:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the event industry, ensuring event concepts are fresh, relevant, and engaging.
• Work alongside the event coordinator to prepare detailed financial reports, ensuring adherence to the event budget.
• Ensure the availability of required facilities at the event venue and manage logistics to ensure smooth event execution.
• Oversee the final delivery of the event to ensure it meets the client’s expectations in terms of quality, timing, and overall experience.
• Create a final event completion report and share data points to client.
Skills needed:
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the Event management domain
• Should have managed executed events of various types and at various roles
• Hands on experience on working with power point presentations and Canva
• Basic knowledge of design tools like photoshop, illustrator, etc
• Basic knowledge of 3D spaces and knowledge of any 3D design tool like Sketchup, 3DS, Maya, etc is a plus
