Description
We are in the search for a Staff Accountant to join our team in the med-device industry, located in Framingham, Massachusetts, United States. As a Staff Accountant, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including handling accounts payable, journal entries, and account reconciliations. You will also be involved in reporting tasks, with a focus on commissions and commissions reporting.

Responsibilities
• Handle accounts payable tasks effectively and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process journal entries as part of the monthly financial close process.
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Generate light reports to aid in financial decision-making.
• Handle any commission-related tasks and generate commission reports.
• Maintain professional interaction with clients and respond to their inquiries.
• Assist in other accounting projects as assigned by the Assistant Controller.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with regulations and laws.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Support the Assistant Controller in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data.
Requirements
• Possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge and experience in coding invoices
• Ability to manage Invoice Entry, Invoice Payment, and Invoice Processing
• Experience in preparing Monthly Journal Entries
• Familiarity with handling Commissions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good organization and time-management abilities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
