Supplier Manager - 12 Month FTC

We’re looking for a Supplier Manager to join our Banking team at Tesco Bank.

You’ll ensure a full understanding of the services provided to your allocated business area by Strategic suppliers, engaging relevant internal stakeholders and report on performance, service, and risk exposures.


What you’ll be doing

Managing key internal client and customer relationships. Ensure business objectives and supplier objectives remain aligned and within rules of business conduct. Governing the relationship for maximum value, including review meetings
Identifying Trends, summarise findings and give feedback on existing contract performance, provide as input to new contract processes to negotiations/renegotiations.
Delivering required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within a contract management plan, in line with regulatory supplier compliance management framework.
Working with Procurement & Legal to review, maintain and re-negotiate the necessary legal contracts.
Ensuring that business activities within your area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures.
Identifying and evaluating risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated, escalating where appropriate.
Planning and delivering stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships and to ensure that stakeholder needs, and concerns are identified and me.

We need you to have

Experience of managing suppliers in a large, regulated, or controlled environment.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
Experience of balancing priorities in a fast paced, consistently changing environment to meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations relating to outsourcing and supplier activity.
Risk, Conduct and Compliance Management.
Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.
Understanding of supplier commercial contracts.
