Business Banking is proud to support a range of medium to large sized businesses across Sydney. Our Major Client Group (MCG) team is designed specifically to look after our largest and most complex clients with turnover +$150m and debt requirements of +$50m .

Do work that matters

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a Team Manager for our MCG Team. Taking a key leadership role and using your ability to coach and develop others, you will lead a team of Analysts, Senior Associates & Account Managers as well as being responsible for actively driving the uplift of overall capability across your Centre.

More specifically, you will:

Work collaboratively with peers, business partners and stakeholders to build strong and effective relationships and ensure your team are meeting business needs;
Ensure strong risk acumen, and drive a culture of accountability and excellence across your team;
Facilitate ongoing development of your team to continually build on credit, risk, technical and leadership capabilities;
Drive a productivity mindset, and maintain a continuous improvement focus to implement practical process improvements across the business;
Proactively identify and assess risk within the business and share best practice insights that will be used to drive and support course correction;
Role model a curious mindset and adoption of technology across your team and business;
Role-model and lead the delivery of best practice Sales & Service, and outcomes that meet MCG credit and compliance requirements;
Drive a customer centric culture by ensuring your team provide responsive, professional and quality service that meets the needs of our people and clients, and positively contributes to NPS; and
Focus on ensuring that frontline staff have the necessary capability to consistently deliver exceptional service within an operationally compliant framework.

We want to hear from you if you:

Demonstrated experience as a senior analyst with a strong risk mindset and credit skills. Whilst experience at a leadership level is highly regarded, consideration will also be given to applicants where leadership is in their career development plan and they can demonstrate a track record of high performance as a senior member of the team;
Strong financial services industry experience, including experience within a sales and/or risk role;
Extensive knowledge of bank and financial services products and services and strong commercial acumen and risk knowledge;
Proven ability to build strong and effective relationships and to work collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders;
Continuous improvement mindset and a creative approach to problem solving;
Curiosity and passion for technology; and
Strong customer focus and a real passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
