Job Description

At Akm-Global, we seek a highly skilled US Accountant (Real Estate/Property Accounting) to join our team. This role requires 2+ years of relevant experience in Sage Intacct and ResMan software, with a focus on US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive accounting services, including E2E bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and payroll services.
• Assist with monthly compilation engagements and audit preparation.
• Provide exceptional client service as a primary point of contact.
• Conduct thorough self-reviews of workpapers, financial statements, and other documents before submission.
• Offer valuable insights and advice during the annual budget process.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services to clients and take ownership of assigned work.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, with expertise in US-based Real Estate/Property Management clients using Sage Intacct software.
• Strong knowledge of Rent/Lease accounting principles.
• Prior experience in client handling and management.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and all necessary accounting software.
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience working with both Sage Intacct and ResMan software is mandatory for this role.
• Strong computer aptitude and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with the team.
