Job description
Vehicle Technician
Uxbridge
£30k - £35k Basic with £42k - £58k OTE (3 month guarantee of £40,000)
Monday to Friday with rota’d Saturdays (45 hours per week)
Our well-established main dealer client in Uxbridge is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and diagnostic service ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are met and exceeded
• Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and ensure compliance with manufacturer training
• Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards
• Ensure 100% compliance with vehicle health check processes
Required Experience & Skills:
• A full UK driving licence
• Experience of inspection, repair and servicing motor vehicles
• MOT Tester qualification would be highly beneficial
• Fantastic verbal and written English skills
• Previous experience working in a franchised dealership (preferred but not essential)

What We're Looking For: Your Technician's Toolkit
We're searching for a dedicated Vehicle Technician who is:
• NVQ Level 3 qualified in a relevant automotive field or equivalent.
• Possesses proven knowledge and experience of working within a workshop environment – you've been under the hood before!
• Holds an MOT Licence (preferred but not required) – a bonus that can accelerate your role.
• Has a valid UK driver’s licence.
• Able to work effectively towards both team and individual targets – you know how to accelerate towards goals.
• Demonstrates high attention to detail in all aspects of vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs – no loose nuts here!
• Confident in liaising directly with our customers on technical issues – you can talk the talk as well as walk the walk.

As a Vehicle Technician at Holdcroft in Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port, you'll be the architect of vehicle performance, ensuring every car runs like a well-oiled machine. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out general servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to a very high standard, always in line with manufacturing specifications.
