Job description, work day and responsibilities
Graphic Design Specialist
Packaging and Print
• Turn concepts into press-ready dielines/artwork with finish notes, such as foil, emboss/deboss, spot UV, and textures.
• Design labels, refills, inserts, instruction cards, barcode/info panels, maintaining accuracy across SKUs.
• Prepare files for vendors and support pre-press checks, including CMYK/Pantone, trapping, and bleed.
Social and Content
• Create engaging Instagram posts, Reels covers, Stories, ads, email graphics, and landing page assets.
• Build a reusable template system, including type styles, grids, and iconography, for fast and consistent output.
• Light motion for Reels/Stories using Adobe After Effects, Lottie, or GIFs is a plus.
Character and Illustration
• Develop and evolve graphic personas, including turnarounds, expressions, outfits, and props.
• Produce scene illustrations, sticker sets, and simple animation-ready assets.
Systems and Operations
• Maintain the brand kit, including color, type, and icons, as well as the component library and naming/file hygiene.
• Collaborate with the Creative Lead, Social, and Ops teams and work on weekly sprints with clear handoffs.
Preferred Qualifications
• 3-6 years of experience in brand/packaging/illustration or equivalent freelance track.
• A portfolio that showcases packaging craft, social chops, and illustration/character work.
• Strong typography, layout, and color skills, with an obsession with detail and premium finishes.
• Comfortable with feedback loops and quick turnaround times, as well as AI tools.
