Company Introduction: T&T Supermarkets is marking over 30 years as Canada’s favorite Asian grocery store and recently announced multiple new store locations in the United States. Our growth into the US offers great opportunities within our first US flagship store, opened in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington in the Marketplace at Factoria, spanning 76,000 sq.ft. and standing as the largest Asian specialty supermarket in Washington state.
We have established our regional office in the greater Los Angeles area to grow T&T Supermarket’s vendor base with American food suppliers.
The Role: The Visual Designer is a key member of the e-Commerce team, responsible for both creative visual design and content production. This role merges strong graphic design skills with hands-on product photography, image editing, and basic video creation to support the e-commerce and operational content needs at T&T Supermarket US. The ideal candidate will bring creative vision and technical expertise to produce visually compelling content for websites, digital platforms, and internal systems.
Major Responsibilities: You Will:
Capture high-quality images of products, store setups, and operational visuals.
Conduct basic video shoots and editing for internal and digital use.
Adjust white balance, lighting, exposure, and composition to meet visual standards.
Manage photo shoots end-to-end, including planning, setup, and execution.
Maintain and organize the digital asset library.
Design and produce digital content: product visuals, banners, internal page visuals, and other e-commerce content.
Ensure brand consistency across digital customer touchpoints and internal platforms.
Adapt and version digital assets for different platforms and formats.
Work closely with the Digital Sales and Platform teams to align visual content with online listing, interface, and internal requirements.
Work with Marketing and Sales teams to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs.
Support internal documentation and training visuals as needed.
Utilize AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Canva AI, Runway ML, Midjourney) for accelerating image generation, editing, and content templating.
Apply generative AI for tasks such as background removal, lighting enhancement, or batch visual production.
Stay updated on AI trends and propose tools to improve production efficiency.
You Should Have/Be:
3+ years of combined experience in product photography, digital design, and video editing.
Strong portfolio showcasing both design and photography work.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Premiere/After Effects is a plus).
Experience in e-commerce content production and understanding of digital design standards.
Familiarity with AI-powered content tools for image editing, enhancement, or generation.
Experience in writing or editing product descriptions, UI text, or digital content copy is a strong asset.
Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
Diploma or degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or related field.
