Responsibilities
Establish complete control of all warehouse operations, including equipment, products while ensuring prompt, accurate, safe and quality services through adherence to world-class standards
Embrace and demonstrate the Kroger Manufacturing High Performance Work System 7 core principles and integrate the company's core values of inclusion, integrity, respect, diversity, honesty, and safety to achieve optimal results in all plant functions, structures, and operations
Ensure the maintenance and operation of allocated machinery and associated equipment meet the daily production targets with professionalism
In charge of regulating all safety procedures and the use of PPE
The ability to monitor and control the quality of a product is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and brand reputation
Adhering to well-defined policies and procedures is imperative for all warehouse personnel to ensure consistency and reduce the likelihood of errors
Capably manage and operate an array of warehouse equipment and vehicles with skill and proficiency, while also displaying dexterity in utilizing various handheld tools
Arrange for the upkeep and restoration of warehouse equipment as and when required
Complete safety observations
Regularly cleaning and organizing your work area is an essential part of maintaining a professional and efficient work ethic
Communicate regularly with other team members and superiors throughout the job to ensure that everyone is on the same page and any necessary adjustments can be made in real-time
Thoroughly reviewing and confirming all information before submitting paperwork or documentation is crucial to avoid mistakes or misunderstandings

Qualifications:

MINIMUM
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication skills can be developed over time through practice, feedback, and a willingness to continuously improve and refine one’s abilities

DESIRED
• Both a high school diploma and a GED demonstrate that an individual has the basic skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workforce or in pursuing higher education
