The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Wholesale & Stock Finance, the Wholesale & Stock Financing Manager will support delivering the wholesale and stock finance product into the UK Motor market.

The Wholesale & Stock Financing Manager will help manage the stock finance and wholesale products, contributing to quality submissions to risk, active control of risk factors, regular facility reviews and support of Motor commercial teams where credit lines are implemented to generate retail business.

The Wholesale & Stock Financing Manager will help create retail opportunities through the active promotion of the BNP Paribas stock and wholesale finance solutions and work with the Retail sales teams to deliver the volume and profit targets of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with the Motor retail sales team to deliver new sales and revenue growth from new business wins. I.e. generating, fostering and developing relationships with major / strategic key account prospects in order to achieve the Company’s sales targets by selling BNPP PF products to consumers through dealers, with specific emphasis on both £’s Credit Volume and margin after commissions.
Under the authority of the Head of Wholesale and Stock Financing support the implementation of Wholesale / Stock Finance to promote Retail finance growth, whilst having awareness for the company capability
Contribute to Sales presentations where appropriate to impress and win new clients
Contribute to high quality and regular reporting on wholesale / stock finance business activities using ISF, Power BI and any other systems to support reporting activity.
Identify and manage dealer risk factors liaising with the Sales teams and Risk as appropriate
Working closely with OEM partners to implement, manage and control the wholesale facilities
Skills & Attributes:

Good motor product knowledge
Knowledge of wholesale finance and stock funding propositions in the UK
Ability to interpret statistics and financial data.
Experience would be preferred in managing client relationships
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
Commercial awareness.
