Reporting to the Integrated Supports Coordinator, this role contributes to a holistic learning support network within the CTLI and other student-centered support services by supporting students with the development of foundational academic strategies and supporting faculty through the creation and delivery of learning resources and activities.

Academic Strategists play an integral role at Lethbridge Polytechnic by collaborating with faculty and staff to help diverse learners achieve academic, personal, and professional success.

What makes you a good fit?
This position might be right for you if you have a passion for supporting diverse adult learners and collaborating with faculty and staff across multiple teams. In this position, this support will involve:

Recording interactions and tracking data according to policies and best practices established at the institutional, centre, and team levels.
Collaborating with Student Affairs, faculty, and other CTLI teams to develop projects, resources, initiatives, and events to ensure Lethbridge Polytechnic’s student supports remain accessible, effective, and relevant.
Excelling in self-directed situations and having the creative confidence to forge new solutions to systems challenges are keys to succeeding in this position. This role also requires strong time management, decision-making, interpersonal, intercultural, and relationship-building skills and the use of flexible approaches to adapt to our students’ needs.
