Job description, work day and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries,

accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual

statements.

Developing and managing the annual budget, tracking performance against the budget, and

identifying areas for improvement.

Handling bookkeeping tasks, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting

standards.

Managing payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.

Preparing and submitting tax returns and other required statutory filings.

Performing financial analysis and providing insights to support business decisions.

Assisting with internal audits, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Preparing Management Information System (MIS) reports.

Developing a strong understanding of software product revenue recognition, order booking,

and invoicing processes.

Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

3+ years of relevant experience as a Company Accountant or a similar role in a software

company.

Proven experience in handling financial controls.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (specific software experience is a plus).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance.
