As a part of our team, you will be responsible for MIS Reporting & Analysis. This includes developing and generating customized financial reports and dashboards using accounting and MIS tools to provide relevant insights to management. You will analyze and present financial data trends to assist in decision-making and identify areas for process improvements. Additionally, you will be required to generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed by senior management, ensuring they are timely and data-driven.

In terms of Financial Record Maintenance & Data Entry, you will record financial transactions, including vendor invoices and month-end journal entries, in ERP software such as Zoho, Tally, or Xero. You will also perform bank and credit card statement reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and up-to-date nature of financial records.

Ensuring Data Integrity & Accuracy will be a crucial part of your role. You will review financial documents and journal entries for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective actions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data within MIS systems, ensuring consistency and completeness.

Financial Analysis & Reporting will also be a key area of focus. You will use Excel to analyze financial data, create forecasts, and build reports for management. Extracting key financial data from MIS and accounting systems to provide insights into company performance and support business decisions will also be part of your responsibilities. Identifying patterns and trends in financial data and providing actionable recommendations to enhance financial processes and optimize operations will be expected from you.

Documentation & Filing will involve maintaining organized and properly filed financial documents, ensuring quick access to historical data for reporting and auditing purposes. Continuous Improvement is essential, and you will be required to regularly review and recommend process improvements related to MIS data collection, reporting systems, and financial analysis workflows.

Other duties may include assisting in month-end and year-end closures, ensuring all financial entries are correctly posted and reconciled, and performing tasks as assigned by management to align with department goals and timelines.

To excel in this role, you should have a Commerce graduate or related field of study, along with 0-3 years of relevant experience in both accounting and MIS-related activities. Proficiency in Excel (advanced level), experience using accounting software like Tally, Zoho, Xero, and knowledge of ERP software for managing financial data are required. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and strong problem-solving skills are key attributes that we are looking for in a candidate.
