Job description
Korn Ferry has partnered with our client in their search for an Accounting Manager. The ideal person will be a key member of the accounting team, leading the month-end close and AP process. Additionally, this person will frequently interact with all levels of the field and executive team.

Job Requirements
• Responsible for preparing required journal entries to complete the monthly close process (journal entries, accruals, account analysis, analytics for variances against budgets and prior periods).
• Responsible for timely reconciliations of all accounts on the related general ledger.
• Responsible for proper recognition and recording of all revenue transactions.
• Responsible for generating, reviewing, and presenting all month-end financials to management.
• Provide all information to auditors for interim and year-end audits.

Education / Experience
• Four-year College Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred
• Strong computer and software application skills required, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience using NetSuite preferred.
• Experience implementing/modifying policies and procedures with systems to achieve greater efficiencies in accounting operations is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting rules for cut-off, accrual, deferral, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with highly organized skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn new processes quickly.
• Consumer Products industry experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple processes in a fast-paced environment using multiple systems and databases.
