About the role
The position of Assistant Accountant – Corporate is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager – Corporate, maintaining the integrity of all Cash & Bank transactions in the FBNZ entities including:
Processing and analysis of daily cash transactions
Completion of Bank reconciliations
Preparation of Weekly and Monthly Cash Forecasts
Maintenance of all FBNZ Group Bank user profiles, authorities and mandates
Supporting Financial Accountant with reconciliations and analysis
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has strong attention to detail to prepare accurate financial information. Along with this, you will also have:
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in cash management or accounts receivable
Ability to analyse and communicate financial information
Advanced Microsoft Excel user
A strong Team player who can work autonomously
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
