Le contrôleur supervise la gestion financière et les employés de la fonction comptable.


Qu’est-ce qui vous motive au jour le jour ?

Planification financière, budgétisation et contrôle des dépenses.
Superviser ou effectuer des tâches pour garantir que les fonctions financières sont rapprochées mensuellement, y compris (mais sans s'y limiter) : la trésorerie, les comptes débiteurs, les dépenses payées d'avance, les immobilisations, les comptes créditeurs, les relevés des fabricants, l'administration de la paie, la mise en service des transactions de véhicules, les comptes intersociétés.
Respecter tous les délais mensuels, trimestriels et annuels requis par le ministère de l'Intérieur et le concessionnaire principal/directeur général, y compris les rapprochements mensuels, les rapports mensuels et trimestriels, les calculs des clauses restrictives, l'analyse financière, les rapports de fin d'année, etc.
Examiner et maintenir tous les contrats de concession.
Coacher, encadrer, diriger et former les associés comptables de la concession.
Examiner et garantir le respect des politiques financières, humaines et culturelles fournies par le ministère de l'Intérieur.
Assister aux réunions de la haute direction liées aux prévisions et à la budgétisation.
Assurer la liaison avec les associés du siège social et tous les membres supérieurs de la direction.
Analyse complète des demandes faites par le concessionnaire principal ou les directeurs généraux du magasin individuel.

Qu’est-ce que tu dois avoir ?

Un minimum de 5 ans ou plus d'expérience de travail pertinente.
Doit détenir ou être en train d'obtenir votre titre de CPA.
Expérience préalable en matière de contrôle comptable.
Une expérience de travail en concession serait considérée comme un atout.
Un sens bien défini de la diplomatie, y compris des compétences en négociation et en résolution de conflits.
Excellente communication verbale/écrite combinée à la capacité d'interagir et d'obtenir le soutien de la haute direction et d'autres décideurs.
Solides compétences organisationnelles et de gestion du temps.
Capacité à gérer les priorités, à effectuer diverses tâches et à respecter les délais et les objectifs requis.
Personne axée sur les résultats et axée sur la carrière, dotée d'un esprit entrepreneurial et d'un fort désir de réussir.
Soucieux du détail, motivé et débrouillard.
Excellentes compétences en Word et Excel. Forte maîtrise des logiciels bureautiques standards (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
La connaissance des systèmes informatiques CDK, Reynolds et Reynolds et Tableau serait considérée comme un atout.
Une expérience en gestion de comptes de ventes de grandes entreprises serait considérée comme un atout.
Une expérience antérieure en vente, de préférence B2B (business to business), est considérée comme un atout.
Une solide connaissance de CDK et/ou ADP est considérée comme un atout.
Une expérience de travail avec CaseWare est considérée comme un atout.
Des comptéces linguistiques bilingues en francais et en anglais, car ce poste cécessitera de communiquer en Francais et en Anglais.

Your area of focus:

The Controller oversees the accounting team and financial reporting function of the Dealership.


What drives your day to day?

Financial planning, budgeting, and expense control.
Oversee or perform tasks to ensure that financial functions are reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payables, manufacturer statements, payroll administration, vehicle deal commissioning, intercompany accounts.
Meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines as required by Home Office and the Dealer Principal/GM’s including monthly reconciliations, monthly and quarterly reporting, covenant calculations, financial analysis, year-end reporting, etc.
Review and maintain all dealership contracts.
Coach, mentor, lead, and train accounting associates at the dealership.
Review and ensure compliance with both Financial and People and Culture policies provided by Home Office.
Attend senior management meetings related to forecasting and budgeting.
Liaise with home office associates and all senior members of management.
Complete analysis or requests made by the Dealer Principal or General Managers of the individual store.

What are the must haves

A minimum of 5 years or more of relevant work experience.
CPA designation is considered an asset
Prior experience in an accounting oversight.
Experience working in a dealership would be considered an asset.
A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent verbal/written communication combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision makers.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage priorities, perform a variety of tasks and meet required deadlines and targets.
Results-driven and career focused individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to be successful.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and resourceful.
Excellent skills in Word and Excel. Highly skilled in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.).
Knowledge of CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds and Tableau computer systems would be considered an asset.
Experience managing large corporate sales accounts would be considered an asset.
Previous sales experience, preferably B2B (business to business) is considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of CDK and/or ADP is considered an asset.
Experience working with CaseWare is considered an asset.
Bilingual language skills in French and English as this role will be required to communicate in French and in English.
