The opportunity
We are looking to replace our wonderful Corporate Receptionist & Assistant Administrator.

We are based in Auckland’s CBD, close to the transport and shopping hubs!
Your new role
With a wide range of duties from receptionist to office management, you will be providing administration support to both the Auckland and Regional offices as well as the General Manager, Technology & Delivery and you will be reporting to the EA to the CEO. Some of the things you will be responsible for are:
Manage our Head Office reception including answering calls and greeting customers both internal and external.
Supporting the onboarding for new starters.
Maintain inventory levels for all office supplies and kitchen consumables.
Co-ordinator of the Auckland office facilities, ensuring the offices are well maintained and liaising with key suppliers and contractors while ensuring agreed on standards are maintained.
Ad hoc requirements for staff events and special requests as co-ordinated through the EA.
A full position description will be provided at interview stage.
About you
You enjoy working with people and are a self-starter, happy to get in and do what’s required to ensure everything runs smoothly, as the QBE team really rely on you. While previous experience in a similar role will be preferable, you will demonstrate:
The ability to take ownership and be responsible for the management of the Auckland office.
An independent proactive approach to work.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Natural organisation skills, who is be dependable, reliable, and willing to go the ‘extra mile’ at a moment’s notice.
Confidence and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
