CanWest is looking for a Customer Service & Sales Administrative Assistant to help alongside our fast-paced sales, marketing, and management teams. In this position, you will get to help build CanWest’s exceptional customer service while helping support a team with 40+ years of experience in concrete cutting, coring, and various other projects.

Responsibilities
Offering administrative assistance for the Sales, Marketing, and Management for Calgary & Leduc
Listen and track phone calls for new sales leads, verbal estimates, and flag calls for management
Data entry in Sage 100 for quote and sales tracking
Weekly customer follow-ups via the customers’ preferred method of contact
Manage several shared Microsoft Excel tracking sheets by location and division
Monthly and weekly reporting to management for sales team performance
Adjusting, drafting and publishing sales price sheets
Assist with training and offer support to new sales team members as needed
Take on research and special projects from various teams to help trouble shoot and develop office resources
Cross train with other admins to offer coverage for vacations and sick days
General office administration and tasks as needed
Requirements and skills
Minimum 5+ years in experience in customer service is a must
Professional English verbal and written communication skills is required
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook is required
A proactive, positive, and compassionate attitude is a must for this position
Education in office administration, business administration, or administrative information management or another related field is preferred
Must be action & detailed oriented in fast-paced construction environment
Experience working alongside a sales team is preferred
Experience volunteering in the community or in a volunteer leadership role is preferred
Will need reliable vehicle and be able to drive
