About The Role
The Cyber Security Program Delivery Lead is a key role within our Cyber Technology Integration Services Service Line within Thales Cyber Premium Services. This role is responsible for the successful delivery of complex cyber security programs and solutions across diverse client environments, ensuring high-quality outcomes through structured delivery practices, technical oversight, and team leadership.
As the delivery lead, you will manage a team of identity specialists across a range of cyber security disciplines (e.g. cloud security, network security, threat detection, cyber uplift and partner technologies. You will oversee the full project lifecycle from planning through to implementation and transition to support, while maintaining strong client engagement and alignment with strategic outcomes.
This role also plays a key part in practice development through mentoring team members, driving delivery excellence, and contributing to thought leadership across the cyber security community. The Delivery Lead may also support practice growth through pre-sales engagements, internal capability uplift, and industry representation.
As a Delivery Lead, you are accountable for:
Lead end-to-end delivery of cyber programs and projects across multiple clients and sectors
Manage project planning, resourcing, execution, and reporting across delivery teams
Coordinate cross-functional cyber security specialists across cyber security teams such as network security, cloud security, cyber uplift, exposure management, data security, and application security
Provide delivery oversight and quality assurance for design, implementation, testing, and handover activities
Act as a key client liaison, ensuring expectations are clearly defined, managed, and met
Contribute to solution planning and estimation activities during pre-sales and proposal development
Support practice growth by mentoring and developing junior team members
Champion consistent delivery methodologies, artefact quality, and technical excellence
Facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing across engagements
Represent the practice at industry events and support content development for marketing and capability uplift
Identify and address delivery risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely and proactive manner
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery practices and team capability
About You
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
Experience in cyber security, or IT delivery roles, including team leadership
An understanding of cyber security domains including cyber uplift, network security, application security, identity, data protection, etc.
Proven experience managing complex technology projects and distributed delivery teams
Familiarity with project management practices (e.g. Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies)
Strong stakeholder management and client engagement skills across technical and executive levels
Experience mentoring and developing capability within technical teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience contributing to proposals, tenders, or pre-sales solution design (desirable)
A passion for identity security and a desire to contribute to the growth of a specialist practice
