The Award Winning 2Beez Performing Arts Academy is delighted to confirm an open position for Dance Teacher at their prestigious academy location based at Trent College, Derby Road, Long Eaton, NG10 4AD. Staff Free parking is available on site.
Work Time Slot: The candidate will need to be available Every Sunday from 2-5pm.
We are looking for an incredible passionate and experienced Dance teacher who can inspire our young students and teach Dance of different genres on a higher level ready for performance.
The successful candidate will need to have worked with children in a school environment, from the ages of 3-19 years old, understating the process of creating innovative lessons for stage theatre and musicals, personalised to help in developing students dance techniques for performance individually and as a group.
Ideal Candidate will have:
At least 1 year experience in teaching Dance to children.
Qualified teacher statues or equivalent.
Outstanding communication skills (verbally, emails, phone etc)
Understanding of the performing arts industry
Passion and love for Dance and all performing arts related subjects.
Outstanding team member with initiative.
Collaboration skill with other members of the team and departments to build on the academy's program and students achievements.
Outstanding time keeping
Supportive member of the team.
Understands the academy motto "I Can. Anything is Possible" Creating a positive and professional working environment promoting the academy ethos to meet high standards for the students best interest.
A strong leader that can deliver weekly outstanding innovative lessons, meeting individual and group targets to develop students performances and dance skills.
Ability to learn and teach new choreographies upon request as part of the curriculum and academy's schedule for shows, musicals and auditions.
Knowledgeable on original musical choreographies to teach students during specialised workshops, and academy musicals.
Abel to work technical equipment for sessions and shows successful runs.
Can adapt to changes, and is able to accommodate and teach smaller or larger groups of different ages and abilities.
The academy provides outstanding professional development for staff.

(Applicants will need to provide a copy of their fully enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to organise one before starting the job role.
