Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) who will be responsible for managing Oracle database operations and backups, detecting and preventing data corruption, and ensuring database security and performance
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Oracle RMAN backups, database optimization, and database maintenance routines, as well as experience with SQL Server and cloud-based environments
SQL Server Management:
Perform maintenance and administration of MS SQL Server (preferably 2014 and above), including performance tuning, patching, and backup strategies
Expertise in Oracle database administration and Oracle RMAN backup/recovery processes
Experience with detecting and resolving data corruption, performance issues, and database failures
Knowledge of Oracle's best practices for security, patching, and maintenance
Experience with SQL Server (preferably 2014 and above), including upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting
In-depth knowledge of SQL Profiler, database indexing, and performance tuning
Experience administering databases in virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
