All the details

You will be telephone based using Microsoft Teams and our telephony system, spending your time supporting and coaching line managers and Business Involvement Group (BIG) Representatives. Providing high level advice and guidance to ensure risk to the business is understood and mitigated with regards to people management, policy and decision making while considering the overall commercial impact to the business.

You'll take ownership of your own caseload, providing expert support on long-term absence matters. This includes guiding line managers through Occupational Health referrals and fostering a positive Employee Relations culture. You'll coach and develop managers to ensure legal compliance and consistent application of best practices. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with HR People Partners, keeping them informed on progress and developments within your assigned region.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office four days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What You’ll Do

Your key accountabilities will include:
• Support and coach our Line Managers & BIG rep’s with people policy advice over the telephone
• Provide support to our managers with all formal people policy related letters and reports
• Build relationships with colleagues and business partners to enable your to constructively advise on options and risks
• Support our managers with long term absence across a business area
• Employee relations experience to enable you to provide people policy advice on a wide range of employee relations issues
• Identifying key trends through data, sharing insights to key business partners

Who You Are

Your skills and experience will include
• Demonstrable passion and interest in Employee Relations and HR
• Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at one time
• Excellent excel skills to enable you to provide insight into regional people data and trends
• Strong coaching and influencing skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to easily build a connection with colleagues over the telephone
