Responsibilities
Providing personal and companion care at Dungarvin, you will have the ability to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities
The Office Program Coordinator / Administrative Assistant is responsible for program management in maintaining consistency in the provision of supports and services to individuals in service and in communicating with staff and team members
Expediting the general flow of matters pertaining to the office
Typing and general office/clerical duties
Assist in direct training, follow up, and coaching with staff
Keeping the supervisor informed at all times
Works closely with the Program Directors and Director and also maintains direct communication with the Nurse, Office Manager and maintenance
Coordinate a variety of services including but not limited to: program implementation, individual finances, and quality assurance
Assist with other basic administrative functions to support the office

Job Description

The Office Program Coordinator / Administrative Assistant is responsible for program management in maintaining consistency in the provision of supports and services to individuals in service and in communicating with staff and team members.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Qualifications

• Prior education and/or experience in administrative support duties preferred.
• Must possess a sincere desire to provide service and support to persons with developmental disabilities.
• Must be responsible, reliable, and able to carry out job functions independently without ongoing supervision.
• Also must possess all of the following: the ability to make sound judgments when given guidance and priorities; ability to work as a team member to maintain consistency and quality in services; ability to exchange support, constructive criticism, and ideas with other staff members and relevant professionals; flexibility in working various days, hours, sites and with various individuals; adaptability to change; ability to assist in maintaining efficient office operations; previous computer experience.
