This is a key enterprise leadership role responsible for the strategic growth, transformation and operating performance of our nationwide Corporate and Property Finance portfolios. You’ll be shaping the future of how we support some of New Zealand’s most significant businesses and property clients, while empowering a high-performing team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on building strong relationships, leads with empathy and clarity, and has the ambition to help Kiwibank make a significant difference to the New Zealand economy.

What you’ll be doing

Setting and delivering the strategic direction for Corporate Banking and Property Finance, aligned with Kiwibank’s enterprise goals
Growing our presence in new client segments and industries, and expanding our impact in the property sector
Leading innovation across our product and service offerings, including cash management, trade finance and property finance
Representing Corporate and Property Finance at executive, Board and industry forums, contributing to enterprise strategy and sustainability
Leading nationwide teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences and strong business performance
Championing transformation and continuous improvement across the portfolio
Coaching and developing inclusive, high-performing teams

Proven leadership experience in financial services, with a track record of leading large, complex business units
Deep knowledge of corporate banking and property finance, including lending, financial markets, transaction banking and complex funding structures
Strong credit risk, governance and regulatory experience
A strategic mindset with the ability to execute and embed change at both enterprise and operational levels
Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across diverse networks
A people-first leadership style that builds trust, supports growth and fosters a high-performance, purpose-led culture
