Full job description
At HelloFresh, we want to change the way people eat forever by offering our customers high-quality food and recipes for different meal occasions. Over the past 10 years, we've seen this mission spread around the world and beyond our wildest dreams. Now, we are a global food solutions group and the world's leading meal kit company, active in 18 countries across 3 continents. So, how did we do it? Our weekly boxes full of exciting recipes and fresh ingredients have blossomed into a community of customers looking for delicious, healthy, and sustainable options. The HelloFresh Group now includes our core brand, HelloFresh, as well as: Green Chef, EveryPlate, Chefs Plate, Factor_, and Youfoodz.
The primary responsibility of the Growth Marketing Lead— a newly created role due to growth — at Youfoodz is to drive new customer acquisition and ensure profitability. You will do this by ideating, sizing, prioritising, and executing a broad range of initiatives. These will be a mix of locally developed ideas and best practices shared by our global headquarters.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is strategically and commercially minded, but also deeply performance-driven, data-obsessed, and thrives in fast-paced growth loops. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Marketing, Product, Finance, and Creative — and champion initiatives that grow our customer base and reduce acquisition cost, all while aligning with our brand strategy.
You will report to the Director of Growth & Product Strategy for Youfoodz in Australia.
You will…
Own the strategy and roadmap for profitable new customer growth, balancing long-term vision with rapid execution.
Collaborate with paid media leads across Meta, Google, YouTube and other channels to shape and optimize acquisition strategies.
Identify, test, and scale creative experiments across audience segments, creative formats, and landing experiences to drive down CAC and improve CTRs.
Review and report on key performance metrics relating to new customers — including CAC, LTV, funnel conversion rates, and ROAS — and use insights to inform ongoing growth strategy.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Looker, and internal dashboards to analyse trends, surface opportunities, and inform campaign optimisations.
Drive the annual and quarterly marketing budgeting process, setting ambitious but realistic spend, conversion, and ROI targets in close collaboration with Finance and channel owners.
Optimise budget allocation across channels and tactics based on growth trends, performance data, and ROI analysis.
Incorporate creatives and messaging aligned with quarterly brand themes into always-on channel activity, ensuring consistent brand presence and commercial relevance.
Meet regularly with cross-functional stakeholders to align on upcoming initiatives and ensure performance-first campaigns are designed to deliver commercial impact.
Facilitate go/no-go decisions on campaign or initiative rollouts by calculating incremental commercial impact using A/B tests, historical data, and modeled projections.
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on key initiatives, workflows, and campaign learnings to enable knowledge sharing across the business.
Champion the growth agenda within Youfoodz by aligning teams around a common set of acquisition goals and KPIs.
You have/are…
6+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, management consulting, or corporate strategy, ideally in a DTC or eCommerce environment.
Demonstrated experience in channel strategy, creative testing, and growth experimentation frameworks.
Strong ability to guide, coach, and motivate team members and cross-functional stakeholders toward shared business objectives.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, or a STEM discipline.
Proficient in financial/operational modeling and performance measurement, with a strong command of acquisition metrics and growth levers.
Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence across teams, including Marketing, Product, Data, and Finance.
Experienced in project managing initiatives end-to-end, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
Fluent in Google Sheets/Excel (e.g. index match, nested ifs, VLOOKUP), Google Slides, and familiar with tools such as Tableau.
Quick to learn new platforms, tools, and internal systems.
Strong alignment with the HelloFresh Group values and have an empathetic approach in how you solve problems and collaborate with others.
What you’ll get in return…
The chance to have a significant impact in a leading global food technology company
Flexible working arrangements
Egoless environment, constant learning with room for personal growth
Free access to Headspace

A diverse and vibrant international environment, with offices in 18 countries
