Role Description
This is a full-time Cleaning Specialist role at two different properties located in San Mateo and Burlingame. As a Cleaning Specialist, your standard tasks will include porter services of all common and public areas for a dedicated apartment building and occasional turnover cleans for vacant apartment units. When a resident moves out, the entire apartment is to be deep cleaned and restored to like-new condition for a new resident.
This role is guaranteed 30 hours a week of porter services in San Mateo and 5-6 hours a week in Burlingame. These locations have free parking and are less than a 10-minute walk from a Caltrain Station! A typical work week would be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and either Saturday or Sunday (you pick!) from 7am-1:30pm or 7:30am to 2pm (your choice!) in San Mateo; Wednesdays from 7am-12pm or 7:30am to 12:30pm (your choice!) Please note that this is a six-day work week.
Typical duties include: moving multiple dumpsters from the trash room to the riveway area and back from the driveway to the trash room the following day; vacuuming and mopping common area spaces such as: offices, lobby areas, resident hallways; cleaning of resident laundry rooms, fitness centers, bbq area, community rooms, and restrooms.
Qualifications
Experience in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, window cleaning, home cleaning, house cleaning, and carpet cleaning
Ability to work independently and follow cleaning protocols
Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques
Prior experience in the cleaning industry and/or hospitality industry
Requirements
Must be authorized to work in the US
Must be able to push large metal dumpsters that are on wheels and are heavy
Possess physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects ranging from 20-80lbs
Ability to stand or walk for 8+ hours a day
Must have reliable transportation to the assigned work location
Reliability and strong work ethic
Effective communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Undergo a complete training regimen carefully curated for a specific work location
Ability to utilize a smart device such as a cell phone for checklist completion and clocking in and out for your shift

Requisitos
• Debe estar autorizado para trabajar en los EE. UU
• Debe poder empujar contenedores de basura metálicos grandes que tengan ruedas y sean pesados
• Poseer resistencia física y capacidad para levantar objetos pesados que oscilan entre 20 y 80 libras
• Capacidad para estar de pie o caminar durante más de 8 horas al día
• Debe tener transporte confiable al lugar de trabajo asignado
